Wherever you live there is a landscape that is special to that place. I do not to forget it. Thats why I paint the landscape. I also paint it because of the shapes, shadows and artists that I look up to, like cezanne and Walter Frank. They made their work in the heart of nature. I cant do that in the same way, but the urban landscape can be as interesting as a jungle. At the moment I live in a city, and paint that, because the more I paint it the more beauty I discover.
